Ebenezer gives honor to Pastor Jacob Parker who labored unselfishly for 49 years in the service to God, this church, and community. We recognize his faithfulness and how he served with integrity. As Pastor Emeritus we give respect and gratitude for his pastoral service. Our love for him is always.

The extraordinary and prophetic life of Pastor Emeritus Jacob Parker began January 26, 1929 in Macon, GA as the youngest joy of Robert Parker Sr. & Amanda Emery Parker.
After giving his life to the Lord at Fulton Baptist Church, Pastor Jacob Parker fully committed himself to the ministry of song, prayer, service, consecration and caring accepting the call of God upon his life, he transcended this committment by vowing to worship God in truth and in spirit and serve God's people. By fulfilling this vow, he has been endowed with a power and anointing that leaves an indeliable impression upon those he comes in contact. At any given time, you may find him caring and servicing on behalf of God's people.
Feeling compelled to offer the message of hope, Pastor Parker began pasturing witnesses, visiting prisons, youth detention centers, hospitals and nursing homes. Pastor Parker is a vessel that allows the agape love of God to flow through the bold procolamation of God's Word as a trailblazer for the saved, the unsaved, the young, the old, and the anointed. Pastor Parker furthered his educational training to include Business Administration from LaSalle University in Chicago, IL and Theological Studies from the American Baptist Theological Extention Center in Macon, GA.
As an Evangelist, he has traveled extensively throughout the United States, edifying the body and spreading the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ! This ministry gift is sanctioned and approved as evidenced by the changed lives of all those who have ever come in the presence of this vessel used by God. As a result, many have been healed, delivered , and most improtantly, experienced the wondrous miracle of salvation. His unique manner and infusion by the power of God by the working of the Holy Spirit has caused this ministry to be in great demand and requested worldwide.
In 1966, Pastor Parker heeded the pastoral call. The was called as Pastor of Ebenezer Missioanry Baptist Church in march of 1967. Pastor Parker ministers with zeakm teaches with authority, and preaches under an undeniable anointing.
A man of foresight and perception, Pastor Parker has led Ebenezer in providing educational, cultural, and economic enhancements for the further development of productive citizens in its surrounding communities, while symmetrically offering the balance of spiritual alternatives and inspiration. Pastor Parker is an active member of NAACP, the SCLC, and the Baptist Minister's Union of Macon and vicinity.
Pastor Parker prophetically propelled into destiney his musical talents by praising and worshipping God in song as a renowned recording artist with the Spiritual Crusaders and historically holding the title as the first African-American radio announcer at WFPM in Fort Valley, GA. Pastor Parker has provided spiritual guidance thru prophetic counseling and serving as an advisor to the Chief of Police and officials at Mercer University.
The Man, The Ministry, and The Mission are irrevocably and intricately inertwined for challenging the Body of Christ with a shepherd's heart, seasoned,and cultivated by the Word of God.
