Henry Kennedy was born in Oak Grove, Louisiana and was saved at the early age of twelve. In 1989, he was united to Venita (Harris) Kennedy and together they have been blessed with three beautiful children and one amazing grandchild.
In the year of 1989, the Lord began to show Pastor Kennedy his purpose in the Kingdom. After this life-changing experience, he adhered to the call of God to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and in 1993, he accepted the call to serve.
In July 2000, he accepted the position as Associate Pastor at Word of Life Worship Center in Warner Robins, GA. In December 2004, his season came to an end with Word of Life and within that same month he joined Beulahland Bible Church where he served as the Pastor of Congregational Care for twelve years. On Saturday, March 18, 2017, Pastor Kennedy was called as the senior pastor of the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.
Henry received his Associate degree in Sociology at Georgia Military College and his Bachelor’s degree of Social Work from Fort Valley State University. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Care from Minnesota School of Theology. On August 9, 2020, Pastor Kennedy received his Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University.
He is a willing vessel that God has chosen for the 21st century church. He's anointed to minister to those who have an ear to hear and that hungers for the righteousness of God. As pastor, he believes in developing authentic relationship, which will empower others to become servants of Christ in their home, church, and community.
